Ils argumentent que si un patient est convaincu que, toutes choses considérées, les inconvénients d’être en vie l’emportent sur les avantages, il est rationnel pour lui de conclure qu’il serait mieux décédé et que l’aide médicale à mourir serait bénéfique pour lui.
