Cette expression, un brin provocatrice, désigne la catégorie de disciples de Jésus qui aime creuser dans la Parole, qui ressent le besoin de comprendre de mieux en mieux les écritures pour régler sa marche sur celle du Christ, sans nécessairement avoir un ministère ou une fonction officielle dans l’église.
Pour ces disciples de base, catégorie à laquelle j’appartiens, la méditation régulière, voire quotidienne de la Bible est un élément essentiel pour entretenir la communion avec le Christ.
Oui mais,…comment résister à l’usure du temps, comment continuer à s’émerveiller devant des textes que l’on a lus et relus, comment trouver le temps lorsque l’agenda est bousculé, lorsqu’on a un coup de mou spirituel, lorsque l’on manque d’inspiration, de discipline,…?
C’est là que j’aimerais suggérer que la technologie peut aider. Les exemples ci-après sont basés sur le logiciel d’étude biblique Logos.

Que ce soit un plan d’étude thématique, de lecture de toute la Bible sur une période donnée, ou d’un livre en particulier, choisissez ce qui vous convient le mieux, et laissez vous guider. Chaque jour, vous recevez une notification.
En plus de la lecture quotidienne, vous êtes encouragés et guidés dans la méditation du passage étudié, la prière, ou la mémorisation d’un passage.

Pas de problème, l’application mobile est là pour vous accompagner, quel que soit l’endroit où vous êtes, et le temps dont vous disposez. L’essentiel est d’acquérir une routine. Et celle-ci peut évoluer dans le temps. Nous ne disposons pas des mêmes disponibilités ni des mêmes contraintes lorsqu’on est étudiant, marié avec des enfants en bas âge, ou retraité.

Surlignez un passage, prenez des notes que vous retrouverez facilement grâce à un système de tags, organisez votre méditation, structurez votre pensée. Les possibles sont nombreux.
Bref, quel que soit votre situation et votre besoin, des solutions techniques existent pour vous aider. Cela n’est pas indispensable, ne remplace pas la prière, ni l’assistance de l’Esprit.
Mais de même qu’être équipé d’une bonne paire de tennis et s’inscrire à un club peut vous aider à garder la discipline pour une activité sportive, faire l’acquisition d’un logiciel d’étude biblique tel que Logos peut s’avérer fort utile pour fidèlement méditer la Parole de Dieu.
