Phil A. Newton

Phil A. Newton (PhD, au Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary) est établi à Memphis et pasteur responsable de la South Woods Baptist Church de Memphis, Tennessee, depuis 1987. Phil et son épouse Karen ont 5 enfants et 6 petits-enfants. Il est l’auteur de plusieurs ouvrages dont : « The mentoring church : How pastors and congregations cultivate leaders », « Conduct Gospel-centered funerals » (with Brian Croft), « Elders in the life of the church » (with Matt Schmucker), and « Venture all for God : Piety in the writings of John Bunyan » (with Roger Duke and Drew Harris). Il est professeur associé dans l’équipe du Centre de Southeastern Seminary.
